Do you know the yellow laser pointer? from Wallis Lucy's blog

For most yellow high power laser pointer lovers, the most common device is the green laser pointer. Due to the high power consumption and high beam visibility and brightness, the green laser pointer not only allows many of us to enjoy and comfort, but it is also one of the most popular gadgets in the world. From a radiation point of view, this is the most common and most often the most important aspect is the potential laser pointer. It is important to compare different colors and laser pointer output, because everyone has different opinion factors.

In the entertainment industry, you would not believe it, but lasers are very popular in the entertainment industry. There is even a song called Laserlicht (David Guetta ft. Jessie J). In any decent discotheque, you can find a light show guided by a green laser beam. The blue laser pointer is even more expensive. These developments are completely related to materials, and materials have not developed to this level. There is no yellow laser.

In the yellow-orange range, laser pointer 5000mw diodes can be used as compact wearable devices for medical blood control applications, ophthalmology surgery, displays, industrial spectrum analysis, sensing and compact optical atomic clocks with less than 10-16 frequency uncertainty. It is very difficult to generate a yellow laser. It is a so-called DPSS laser. This includes an infrared laser diode and a so-called combination crystal. This pair of crystals produced laser light that was later visible. The combined crystal obtains energy from the IR diode. Using a green laser, the rear crystal produces a 1064nm laser, and the second crystal doubles the frequency -> halves the wavelength. So you got 532nm. That is the green light. However, the first crystal has the characteristic of generating weak lasers at 946nm and 1340nm. This is usually filtered out because the green laser does not need it. If you want to produce a yellow laser, you must rely on 1340nm. If you double this frequency alone, a red laser will be emitted. If you mix red and green light, you will get yellow light.
