This announcement comes in response to Mut 22 coins a report from Sports Gamers Online that EA had decided to pull additional Franchise mode update for Madden 22. It partly cited IGN's own interview with Madden 22 Executive Producer Seann Graddy. She said that this year's content schedule is "slightly less ambitious than those of the before" as the team is focusing on a few key areas instead of trying to roll out items on the size of Superstar KO, a well-received arcade mode that was introduced by Madden 20.

"I think the roadmap is] likely to be less ambitious than what we have seen in the past because we're really focusing on a couple of key parts in Madden 22 and also getting into Madden 23 in a big way," Graddy said at the time. "So I'm going to stand by the same thing we've said for during the past few years"We're a living service and we'll continue updating the game, but we're definitely not talking about a new mode."

The announcement attracted attention because franchise mode is a sore point with certain Madden fans. Indeed, the promised roadmap was first announced in response to the hashtag #fixmaddenfranchise, which circulated on Twitter between mid-2020. It began following reports that EA didn't plan to make improvements to franchise mode .

Since then, EA has released new commissioner tools and other improvements that include a major overhaul of its scouting tools. Madden 22 also introduced an expanded scenario engine, in-season cutscenes and coaching skill trees. Yet, fans continue to identify various areas in which franchise mode has the potential to improve compared to the other franchises including the absence of customization to the myriad bugs.

Although EA Sports wouldn't provide any additional information, it is possible that additional enhancements are still on cheap Madden 22 coins track for the next year at some point. These updates could include franchise relocation enhancements promised in the original plan for Madden 22. Expect more details in 2022.
