NFL Draft 2019 Dwayne Haskins says leagu from John Short's blog

Dwayne Haskins is not happy he slid to the Redskins at the 15th overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.

In fact, the quarterback out of Ohio State believes NFL teams made a mistake by letting him fall outside the top 10. Coach Jay Gruden said Thursday Haskins will have the chance to compete for the starting position. "Well, if you are a 15th pick of the draft, I think you have to give him the opportunity, without a doubt," Gruden said. "We feel good about the guys we have in the building for sure, Dante Fowler Jr Jersey but when you take a guy in the first round, you have to give him a chance to compete. That's just the way it is, just the way pro football is.

"A quarterback that has performed like he has in one year of playing football is quite astonishing, actually. He's got all the tools to be an exceptional quarterback in pro football. Haskins,who went to high school in Maryland, only played one season as a starter at Ohio State but completed 70 percent of his pa ses for 4,831 yards,50 touchdowns and eight interceptions. He finished third in the Heisman Trophy voting and was a third-team All-American.

I feel like I did a lot of stuff that showed that I can be able to translate to the NFL.
