Zereth Mortis is an ethereal land created by the progenitor race who created the universe for use as their workshop. The players will be able to meet an ancient race of automata who serve as protectors of the world along with a long-lost group of the familiar Brokers. The dungeon raid Sepulcher from The First Ones will also be part of the update. The players will face an adversary in the form of corrupted prince Anduin Wrynn as well as The Jailer. In this way, many speculate that this could be the event that brings the story of the expansion to its conclusion.
The preview also revealed additional features that will be being added with the update. They include the return of set of tiered armor that is specific to a particular class. While they're not entirely new however, they were discarded during the Battle for Azeroth expansion in favor of sets segregated by type of armor. Season 3 of the World of Warcraft PvP and Mythic+ Dungeons will be beginning with the new raid. Professions, Conduits, and Soulbinds will be updated as players advance further into the story, in addition to smaller changes, such as new mounts pet, dancing games coming at the Darkmoon Fair.
