How many times have you flipped down the pages of game from MacMillanwu's blog

There have been plenty of people calling for WoTLK Classic Gold to come to Game Pass since the acquisition was announced earlier this week, but it's not the currently World of Warcraft players hoping for a discounted price that are major contributors here. Like the rest in Game Pass, it's the casual player surfing through Game Pass's library that could be able to increase the game's number of players.

If you're a member of an Game Pass membership, how many times have you flipped down the pages of game tiles, found something you liked, and then downloaded it without so much as an ounce of thought? How many times did it end up becoming the game you played for couple of weeks? The barrier of entry becomes almost nonexistent with Game Pass, and the potential for hobby-level play for players who are interested in World of Warcraft is extremely high. I'm aware of that, because before I shook off the habit (it truly was an addiction for me and I won't be joining any new players this time) I played practically all other games for the past two years. I didn't have the money to play games other than WoW, as well Game Pass didn't exist yet in order to allow me to research other options.

On Game Pass we go

Now, all of this "bring buy WOW WoTLK Classic Gold to Game Pass" talk sounds wonderful, but there's an limitation: it only makes sense for games that run on PC version. World of Warcraft has never come to consoles, and Microsoft's acquisition of the game could appear like the ideal time to bring the game to Xbox. But it'll also come with its own financial costs to port the game, not a guarantee of game that is as successful as the PC version as well as the challenge of creating a game that works between console and PC. With PC gamers comprising more than 1 billion worldwide so why not try to squeeze the game on another platform?
