If you're not aware, Dual Entitlement means players can upgrade their copies of Madden NFL 23 All Madden Edition between PlayStation 4 to PlayStation 5 or Xbox One to Xbox Series X|S at no extra cost. In essence, it allows gamers the ability to play on the two systems: PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 or Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.

Madden NFL 23 Dual Entitlement Programs

Dual Entitlement only comes upon purchase of The Madden NFL 23 All Madden Edition. It is not available in the Standard Edition of Madden 23 is not included in Dual Entitlement. That means that players who purchase Madden NFL 23 Standard Edition on PS4 and then upgrade to PS5 at a later date will need to pay for it as a PS5 version to play.

Per usual as is the norm, Dual Entitlement only covers consoles within that same group. This means that the conversion from PS4 in conjunction with Xbox Series X does not work. In addition, players have to buy the Madden 23 All Madden Edition that is available only on the internet to make use of the Dual Entitlement offer.

With Dual Entitlement, player can access and play both games on both the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 version of Madden 23 on PlayStation 5. or both the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S version of Madden NFL 23 on Xbox Series X|S. Players are able to switch between versions in the game provided they're both on the PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S.

While the player will see the content they preordered transfer between consoles, there is no internal cross-play across console families.
