That being said I do miss part of the endless grind from jack's blog

I've not played any MMORPGs sincethen, to my eternal shame and loss. Life's demands are a lot more intense and I just do not have time to let them lure me into. As with all games they're the longest-running, with OSRS Gold endless levels to climb and items to acquire. People have even perished as a result of endless sessions of the game's younger, but less popular sibling, World of Warcraft, which could also make it a horror game.

Nowadays, you'll most of the time, I'm enjoying Quake and Half-Life or hanging out on Team Fortress 2 - games which are in full force make a mark on me and fade away quickly. It's wonderful to be able to play something I enjoy and go on to forget about it quickly, as opposed to having to think about how many pieces of wood are in my inventory or the location I'll be fishing in the coming session.

That being said, I do miss part of the endless grind and long-term involvement (and the pain) which comes with RuneScape. In its third edition called 'RuneScape 3' (from 2013) with added content and an graphical update, there's a glimmer of hope that maybe I'll return to it to see how it's getting on, just as I would with an old friend.

Publisher Jagex has announced earlier in the year that RuneScape would release early access for mobile in the summer. As of today, anyone can explore RuneScape, the longest-running MMORPG on iOS or Android.

RuneScape is free to play, however players can access more tasks, skills, and things. You can try the membership for free by registering for a an initial seven-day trial. The mobile versions support cross-play as well as cross-progression with PC and PC, which allows you to change platforms and resume from where you started.

This will not be Old School RuneScape, a version based on a build dating back to 2007. This version has been available to Buy RuneScape Gold download for iOS and Android since the beginning of the year. It's the complete RuneScape that Jagex has been continually in the last 20 years.
