Activision Blizzard CFO Spencer Neumann recently stepped down and was named the new CFO of Netflix. Now, Blizzard CFO Amrita Ahuja has quit the company to join the mobile payments company Square as the company's new CFO.

Jack Dorsey, Square's co-founder and co-founder of Square, stated in a statement the statement that Ahuja "brings the company a thorough understanding of ecosystem-based businesses, and she's a purpose-driven and disciplined. She also has a solid growth mindset."


Ahuja was employed by Activision Blizzard for more than eight years. During that time, she was in a variety of financial positions, such as the position of VP of Finance and Operations and VP of Strategy and Business Development, prior to becoming CFO. Prior to buy WOW Burning Crusade Classic Gold taking over Activision Blizzard, Ahuja worked for Fox Networks, Walt Disney and Morgan Stanley.
