Eprasure 40 is an effective prescription medication for treating symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). This condition, also known as acid reflux, causes frequent heartburn and regurgitation of stomach acid.

Eprasure contains the active ingredient omeprazole, which works to reduce excess stomach acid production. By decreasing the amount of acid in the stomach, Eprasure helps relieve the burning discomfort of heartburn. The 40 mg delayed-release capsules provide 24-hour relief with just one pill per day.

Eprasure 40 Mg should be taken before eating in the morning. It may take 1-4 days for full effect. For many with GERD, Eprasure helps heal damaged esophageal tissue and prevent further injury from excess acid. Side effects are usually mild but may include nausea, diarrhea, abdominal pain, and headache. More serious side effects are rare but possible. Eprasure 40 requires a prescription and is not for immediate relief of heartburn symptoms.
